New: Bowling Family Tree
Hey everyone, at Renda’s suggestion, I have started an on line family tree. I don’t know everyones birthdays, etc. If you will review and tell me who I have left off I will add them. Also, I didn’t know everyones grandkids names, etc. I have no plans to leave anyone out and will be thrilled to hear from you all with new data. There is a link to the Tree on my blogroll. Thanks. I would like to know if you are kin to Levi, Sherman (My grand father), General and I believe there were at least 16 other children. There father was Rev. Hughes Bowling. We have had a book written about some of our kin. One of my grandfathers sisters Sally Bowling Goings wrote the book. We are also kin to the Bethel’s, Chadwells’, Houchins’, and Web families. My name is Dennis Bowling, my father was Dennis senior. my grandparents were Earnest and Ella Bowling of Big Creek in Clay CO. Ky. Since my mother was considered a foreigner by my grandmother, she would not discuss any family history. Said it was none of our affair. Im trying to trace our history for my children, and was wondering if we were a part of the same family. The only other info i have is the names of my grandmothers parents who was Jessie and Martha Collins.
